Self Check-in Information - Kahakai Drive apt 1

Checking-in is very quick.  You may call or text us anytime if you have any questions.

When you arrive at the airport or ready to drive:

1) Call us from your car.

2) You will need to take a picture of your ID and text or email it to us as we need to verify your personal identification as the person that booked the apartment.

3) If the apartment is ready we will give you the door lock code. Otherwise we will text you the apartment door code at 4:00 PM. (these codes are changed after each guest).
 

After you park, go up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The apartment is apt 1, the 1st door  with the "ring" label. Open the screen door and enter the door code.  The "Kwikset" button above the numbers will flash green. Then turn the door handle and push open the door.

Cleaning is very important to us and we use a professional cleaning company and they do an excellent job but if they missed something then please call us immediately and we will ask the cleaning person to come back today or tomorrow and take care of any problems.

Note: This apartment building is in the Convention Center district so it allows shorter rentals but please do not let your neighbors know you are a vacation rental since they may worry about their apartment. Thank you.

Parking Stall. Your parking stall is the 2nd parking stall in front of the stairs, next to the gray car. If you have a long car then please pull all the way forward so the back of your car does not stick out.

 

 

Your Door and Lock. Your entrance door is the 1st door  with the "ring" label on the left.

 

 

Drive from the Airport to Kahakai Drive

If you use your GPS map app on your phone the address is  1920 Kahakai Drive, Honolulu. Driving time will take about 20-30 minutes from the airport.

Driving Directions:

Exit the airport and turn RIGHT on Nimitz Highway (east). This is underneath the freeway. Drive on the right lane.  Nimitz Hwy will change into Ala Moana Blvd when you reach the downtown area, about 5 miles.

Continue along Ala Moana Blvd for about 2 miles, on the left will be Ala Moana shopping center the largest outdoor shopping center in the in the world and on the right will be a very large beach park called Ala Moana Park. Move to the LEFT lane as you will be turning left next on to Atkinson Drive.
 

At the end of the park ahead of you will be 2 tall condo towers, get in the Left lane as you turn LEFT here before the towers on to Atkinson Drive.



 

After you turn drive in the Right lane to the 2nd Stop Light and turn RIGHT on to Kahakai Drive.  Please go slowly so you do not miss this turn or you will need to make a large detour to get back here.

Kahakai Drive is a one-way street and that is a circle and come out the same place you enter. After the 2nd corner drive straight and you will see a large wall and a yellow ILWU sign, you turn LEFT here into the parking lot. This is on the 3rd corner. Do not worry if you miss this driveway as you can just drive around the block and try again.

 


 

Your parking stall is the 2nd parking stall in front of the stairs and mailboxes.
